Wednesday Evening Formation
Location: St. Mary Cathedral-

Free Will Offering Dinner
(Optional)This dinner is served in Bishop's Memorial Hall with food service from 5:30-6:15. It is a family friendly meal that we hope simplifies your weeknight and offers an opportunity to visit with other families and build community. Bishop Memorial Hall, the Church and the Gathering Space will remain open to parents/guardians who want to stay and work, pray, rest of visit with other parents.

Classroom CatechesisChildren will report to their grade level classrooms for instruction.
Grades K-6 will use the Loyola Press 'Finding God' curriculum as the backbone content for program, however, catechists will enrich this content with additional resources, Catechism of the Catholic Church, Bible and Formed as well as age appropriate supplemental activities to enrich the learning experience.
Grades 7-12 focus for the 2026-27 school year is Sacraments and Liturgy of the Church. Their four pillars for learning are: Prayer, Catechesis, Service and Fellowship. The content used is: The Catholic Faith Handbook For Youth, The Catechism of the Catholic Church/YouCat, Bible, and Formed (video).

Night Prayer
(Partially Optional)At the end of classes, all students and families are asked to gather in the church for Night Prayer, led by our clergy. This is optional for our youngest students, at their parent's discretion. (We know some will be ready for BED!)

Engagement Weeks are built into the schedule to create space for families to engage in pastorate life or enrich the faith life in the family. This could be attending or participating in a special liturgy, family faith formation, fellowship, doing a work of service together, or even a special opportunity for prayer such as Adoration, a novena or nightly rosary, etc.
